Naples artist Amy Moglia Heuerman is a long-time Preddy PR client. The first phase of the marketing program, encompassing four years, was to establish the brand “Amy Art,” which embraced her art galleries in Florida and Michigan. The galleries are devoted solely to her work. The program was all-inclusive: PR, social, email, advertising, events, direct mail, and a robust website, all under the “Amy Art” banner. In 2022, we reimagined the marketing and pivoted to building a personal brand around her name rather than a business entity. The re-brand extended to a new name-only logo, new social media strategies, and refreshed blog personalities with the imprimatur of the artist as an individual. Most important was a new website. Working with Naples website company Exploritech, Preddy PR managed the development of a streamlined site to include a stunning home page linking to expanded art pages with sample installations and inquiry abilities, a “great reads” section of blog posts and media coverage, and an updated about section. The rationale is to present the artist as an individual versus a corporate entity thereby achieving greater authenticity and a candid tone which also carried through to social media, primarily Facebook and Instagram. Preddy PR’s role is to facilitate the expression of the authentic artist, develop relationships with potential buyers and the media, and allow free-ranging, full-flowered communication without the restrictions of brand strategy.
